6 Month Check Up.

A few days ago was Felix's 6 month well child check up.
Good news is he's super healthy!

19.09 lbs and 27 in: 75th and 50th percentile respectively.

He's actually evening out a lot as he's been in the 95th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height up until this point. He went from wearing 3 month clothing at 6 weeks to wearing 6 month clothes at 6 months! Now I feel like I don't have a complete hefer of a child, haha, however I LOVE how absolutely chunky he is. I always joke that I was robbed of a newborn and just gave birth to a child, but nonetheless I enjoy having a nice, sturdy baby. Plus there is so much more of him to kiss!!

For comparison's sake, here are the other kid's stats at 6 months:

Oliver - 18.4 lbs and 27 inches
Scarlett - 16 lbs and 26 inches

And here they all at at 6 months:

Ollie Ollie Bollie

Miss Sis
Feefers
P.S. I don't think any of my kids look a like! Is that weird?

Christmas Lights

Originally I was planning on doing something like this for our Xmas card. I did these as just a test to see if the pictures would even come out. Here are a few I liked and some silly ones. :)

Getting the Tree Decorated

I WON! I got my real tree this year. Sadly, this is the first real tree any of my kids have had. Ugh. George was really trying to get me to agree to the fake tree again this year but I put my foot down. Pine needles are messy, getting rid of the tree is a hassle, and you have to water it, but its totally worth it for me!

He's just so round. Tell me you don't want to come thru the screen and eat his cheeks!

Scarlett taking care of her brother.

The whole fam dressing up the tree.

Scarlett loved the sparkly ornaments.

Felix just wanted to munch on them.

Oliver was very serious about hanging the ornaments.

Scarlett was excited just to get them on a branch.

She really hates pictures! I'm working on her.

I mean really? ADORABLE.

That dimple will be the death of me.

Hi smiley!

His sister 'fixed' the antlers.

It's a bit blurry, but I loved Oliver admiring the tree.

Baby Girl in a Box

It was her idea, and I couldn't stop laughing!

Thanksgiving 2012

I cannot believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone. 2013 is getting closer! Here are a few pictures of our festivities.

Here is our Thankful Tree. Every day during November I taught the kids what being thankful meant. It was a good start. Here is our finished tree on Thanksgiving and some close ups of some of the things the kids were happy to have available to them:

And here are some dinner pics. The kids were not thrilled about the food. Scarlett mainly ate Cheerios!

And here is our annual family picture. We've been doing it since Oliver was born, so 2009. Very cool to look how the kids have grown year after year, and especially how we began with one kid and have grown each year to having three little ones. Definitely special.

Felix's Baptism

Whew, finally got the little guy baptized! He squeezed into the outfit we got Oliver for his baptism. I find it funny how each of my kids acted in church compared to their regular personalities. Side note - when I go to mass with kids I never sit in the front pew and I'm usually in the special sound proof kids room.

Continuing with my original thought: Oliver was my grumpy, colic baby. Mad at the world, crying constantly, and never happy until about 6 months. He was baptized at 4 months and he did THE best during mass. He was quiet and charming and didn't cry for a second. Sat through an hour like an angel. Scarlett ans Felix were my relaxed babies that were always so quiet. Yeah, both were antsy little things during their baptisms. Felix was jumping in my lap the whole time, and he was talking his little face off, and kept whining. I had to keep him moving the whole time, if I stopped even for a moment, he would almost start crying. Not to mention my other two kids running around near the alter the whole time.

We survived!

And here are just Oliver and Scarlett from their baptisms. :)

Crazy Every Day Life

Here are just some random photos from the last few weeks. I don't think I could have asked for better kids. Don't get me wrong, I get frustrated, impatient, they scream, and don't listen, but at the end of the day I could NEVER imagine life without them nor would I ever have changed a thing.

I have some fun kids that really love and care for one another.

Scar is getting WAY more interactive with the baby.

Oliver is always directing and leading...

These 2 love helping with any chores I try to do. I'll milk it for as long as possible.

Daddy gets the brunt of all the physical action.

Doesn't Daddy look thrilled...hehehe.

Scarlett has really taken her Mommy role seriously.

People often have a hard time imagining Scarlett being able to beat up her brother. She's a tough little spit fire and she can take anything. She has hurt herself worse than her brothers have. She likes to jump off stuff.....
Here are a series of pictures I took while watching Ollie and Scarlett wrestle. Felix was laughing hi little head off. He's soaking it all in for later....

I love when they look like they're hugging....yeah, sure.
