Our Computer Broke

Our drive cannot be saved!!!
Well okay, there is an inckling that they might be able to recover our information.
I have had my laptops give out in the past, 2 to be exact.
And they've always been able to backup my system even if the computer was unsaveable.
I found most of my school material just fine but PICTURES...
Those are priceless. All of Oliver's pictures were on there.
I never got to back them up like I wanted to!
Luckily we have a lot of pictures saved on other computers, but there are some I'm afraid I'll never see.
I have come to the conclusion that my external hard drive is my new best friend.

...As long as that doesn't break.....

Where's tha Baby?

Babies 1st Trip to Downtown Seattle

On the 21st we went on our first family adventure downtown!
It was hotter than hell and Oliver is still getting used to the sun,
but it was worth it.

This is Mr. Oliver on his first Monorail Ride:

He had a lot of fun:

Of course there was a lot of attempted standing:

Almost back to the Seattle Center:

Walking around:

The fountain was fun & yes there is a dino on Oliver's butt!:

Waiting for Daddy to get the Sluprpees:

Playing with the stuffed animals at the souvenir shop:

At the Bay Pavillion waiting for Daddy to be done with his video game:

It was so much cooler inside:

Trying to get a stuffed animal:

We had a lot of fun.
I really can't wait for summer.
The sun makes everyone in a better mood and fresh air always grand.
Can't wait for the zoo!!!

Alki With Baby!

On Thursday I had the day off and it was really warm so we decided to take our little family to the beach!

HE ROLLED OVER!

This is coming from a child who HATES tummy time.
Literally as I was writing the last post he turned himself over ftom his tummy to his back.
He's been trying with all his might to turn over from his back to his tummy with no luck.
Since we never put him on his tummy bc we get a screamfest, I figured he hadn't been using the proper muscles to be able to turn himself over.
I was wrong.
I can't believe my little wiggle worm is a flipper now.

The Baby Sleeps Again!

I think that was just a 2 night fluke.
We have our amazing sleeper back.
AMEN!
We've been letting him eat a bit more bc I just couldn't take him in a bad mood.
It's depressing to know your baby wants more to eat and you don't give them any.

But he still is insanely sick.
The spitting up is nearly gone but he's developed gooey, orangey, eye boogers.
Half the time it looks like he's crying bc his eyes are secreting so heavily.
This has got to be my favorite part of parenting? Ha!
If it doesn't get better by tomorrow the consulting nurse told us to bring him in.
Hopefully everything will be better and we won't need anymore trips to the pedi!

Our Incredible Sleeping Baby...

SLEEPS NO MORE.

Two nights in a row Mr. Oliver has woken up to eat and just cry.
The advice from our pediatrician was to lessen his eating to curb the spit up.
I think it's making him wake up. It's so sad. I don't know if I should go back to feeding him 5 ozs like he likes per feeding or stick with the 4, knowing he's still hungry.

I've been spoiled for 3 months now with a baby that has slept 10+ hours during the night. I feel like I have a newborn again!

Our Child is Made Up of Pure Glory.

14 lbs 15 ozs worth.

I took Oliver to the pediatrician yesterday morning bc he's been spitting up large amounts of digested formula for the last 6 days. Kinda Icky. But good news, he's perfectly fine. Just a virus. I'm cutting back his feeding amounts and it's helping a little. This spitting up should stop very soon! The doc said the virus should only last 7-10 days and we're on day 6. Yay.

I can't wait for his 4 month check up in 2 weeks to see how long he is and how much he'll weigh. I just cannot believe that just 3 and a half months ago I brought home an itty bitty 7 lb 7 oz baby. He's a monster now! The CUTEST monster ever!

Since on Saturday we get our Easter basket blessed at church, we decorated some eggs that will be in our basket.

This is Oliver's first Easter so I had to commemorate:

His was really cool!:

Getting the food coloring ready:

All of our eggs drying:

We love our baby!

P.S.We bought Oliver the cutest 3 piece suit for Easter Sunday. Just wait! The pictures will be up in a couple days and will be priceless!!!

My Easter Chick.

His little outfit has little baby chicks all over it and it says I love Mommy!

Getting ready for Easter...

We got him for a second:

Then he wiggled....

SO Empty.

Daddy was taking down the bassinet today since Oliver will now be sleeping in his room.
Tear.
So I decided to take pictures one last time of it in our room.
No baby inside bc he was sleeping in his CRIB!

Sad!!!

Momma's Taking Big Steps...

Mr Oliver spent his first night last night in his crib in his own room.
IT WAS SO HARD!
I'm so not ready for him to be away from me!
But nonetheless he did so good!
I'm proud of him being a big boy.
But both me and George felt like it was so empty in our room without him in his bassinet!

Here are some pictures of him sleeping bc I was creepy and kept checking on him.
Sleep was no priority last night!

Oops!

Official 3 Month Photo

He's so fascinated with his hands. We have so many pictures like this. I guess I should have known; most of his 3-D ultrasound pictures had his hands in his mouth!
