I've been M.I.A. for awhile. Sowwy.
No computer + work + school + baby = no time for anything.
So the diarrhea saga ended this week. After 3 and a half weeks my boy is cured.
It was just an extended viral "thing" after all of the tests we did.
Oliver has been such a busy bee.
I can't believe how he's changing and evolving into this little boy.
He's not my baby anymore.
He's so adventurous and LOVES trying to crawl and stand.
His eyes are always so big bc he's so interested in literally everything
We also fed Mr. Oliver rice and formula for the first time a few days ago.
We were waiting for the diarrhea to go away so he wouldn't associate being really uncomfortable with eating. He's very intrigued by the food and still doesn't know what to think!
Here are some pictures from the last few weeks:
This is Oliver's first "bite".
Mmmmmmm?
His wonderful godfather Matty paid for his jumperoo:
Oliver LOVES it. It's the reason why he can "walk" now. If we hold him by his arms he actually walks himself around. It's amazing to see my 4 month old do that!
Oliver's new trick is holding his feet! He's been doing this for about a week or so. SO cuuuuute!

The diarrhea saga continues...
So I thought I'd update everyone on Oliver's health.
We took him to the doctor on Thursday because he was on day 7 of diarrhea.
Of course he is perfectly healthy except that he's pooping 6 times a day.
No one knows anything and it's starting to get frustrating.
We were told to get 3 stool samples to test for E. Coli, Salmonella, and some other bug. All we know is it isn't that bug [can't remember the name]. And we have to wait 2-3 more days for the other results.
Oliver had HORRIBLE diaper rash with what looked like fungus growing on Friday night so we took him to Urgent Care. Of course no one could tell us anything about the diarrhea so they gave us some powder meant for athlete's foot to put on his butt to curb the fungus.
They did get a urine sample though, unfortunately I got a call today stating that there was bacteria growing in the urine culture but they aren't sure if it was just contamination from the urine bag so they'd like to put a catheter in tomorrow.
Today is day 12 of diarrhea.
I don't know if I can handle this whole catheter thing bc I remember doing it and it sucked. I was numbed at aleast. I can't imagine how horrible it's gonna be for my Bubbas.
They're worried about a bladder infection, but for all they are going to put him through, he better have one so its not for nothing. I couldn't help but cry when they told me to schedule it for tomorrow.
I want them to tell us something. I'm sick of being treated like an idiot because I'm young and they make stupid assumptions. I'm not an idiot, I'm actually very smart. You know if we were rich and at least looked like we were more 'mature' they'd run every test they could the first time around. I'm tired of going in and out of the doctor's office!
Please pray for little Oliver. He deserves the best and I hope all this waiting hasn't caused him more pain then he needs.

And he's FINALLY baptized!
On Saturday the 9th we had Oliver baptized at St. Bernadette!
Mommy's old school actually!
He was SO good. And this is coming from the fussies baby of life!
I thought he would at least cry a little bit, especially with the diarrhea he STILL has, but nope.
He was so fascinated by everything the priest was doing and took the whole water and oil thing perfectly. He is so unpredictable, this kid. But that's why I love him!

He Can Roll the Other Way!
Just like 2 seconds ago Oliver rolled BY HIMSELF from his back to his tummy!
I cannot believe this kid.
The doc said that he was shocked that he could roll from his tummy to his back already and I shouldn't expect the back to the tummy for another month or so.
Well apparently Oliver has his own time line!
I hope he's not walking too soon! All he ever wants to do is stand and he's already starting to bring one foot in front of the other and trying to 'walk'.
P.S. sorry about not posting! Our computer is still being fixed and so I've been at my mom's every day. Sadly I've been working on paper after paper after paper for my Capstone class so I don't get to really entertain myself online. I will post his 4 month photo soon!
