Too Much Flash Mommy!

Play Time

I like this one because it looks like their holding hands. Nope, Mr. Oliver just grabbing his binky.

He loves to scale Gemma like she's a tiny mountain. This is why I can't take too many pictures at one time. Have I mentioned my child likes to climb? And ANYTHING, even other smaller humans?

Such a teacher, this one. He likes to watch, then give her pointers.
\
"See this is how you do it!"

A Bit Jealous Are We?

I find this photo hilarious!
Look at her big eyes, and you can definitely see Oliver's jealousy of all things Mommy.

He doesn't like sharing, but he puts up with it fairly well.

My OTHER baby. :]

here's my pretty little Gemma!
She's Oliver's friend, who he gets to school in the ways of babyhood during the week.
She's such a little cutie!

Believe me, she's coy. She won't give you a full smile for free. :]

Evidence of Said Walking

Here was our favorite sequence.

Mostly because the fall was epic!

10 WHOLE MONTHS?

I do believe....Yikes

These were taken yesterday:

He always manages to get his pants off. I wonder if this foretells his middle school mooning problem he may get....

"Mom, this flash sucks!"

Grandma's Sweet Presents

For her birthday yesterday we got her a SNUGGIE! If you know my mom well, you know this thing is perfect. Aaaaand we got her a coffee mug with Oliver all over it. Perfect, right?

We have a walker!!!!!!

A. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!

B. OLIVER WALKS!

He still prefers crawling of course! But last night he was walking tons. Daddy even counted 31 steps at one point. Mommy missed it bc she was at work, but today he's making up for it. All he wants to do is walk around. I wouldn't say he walks with ease. It still looks really hard, and he's wobbily. But man, his happy face when he makes it across the room makes our hearts melt!!

I'm trying to get some pictures of him in action! I'll post those later!

Tooth #6

We noticed it just this morning!

Taking LOTS of steps

Oliver has been busy practicing his walking. On Friday he took 7-8 steps all on his own. He's been pretty consistant. I really wonder when he'll be a full blown walker! I can say though, that I really wished he could have walked for Halloween. Carrying 20 lbs up and down 2 blocks really tired Mommy and Daddy out!!

Mario and Luigi

Trick or Treating the SECOND Time!

Terah and Elijah came over to go trick or treating around the neighborhood! We met up with Oskar and Sebastian and off we went!

All these pictures are out of order, I was too lazy this morning to upload them correctly!

Trick or Treating the FIRST Time

We dicided to do some safe trick or treating to start off the afternoon. We went to Southcenter Mall and it was BUSY! Thankfully we had our friends Steve and Kayla and their 6 week old daughter Chloe to help navigate through all the crazy kids!

Ollie the monkey!

Chloe was a ladybug!

"What am I supposed to do with this again?"

Oliver made friends with another monkey!

Mommy's Pumpkin

Happy Halloween!!!

$1.18 is how much I paid for this bib. I love sales. Can't wait for the Thanksgiving version!

Elijah and Oliver

These boys don't get to see each other nearly enough!
But we had a play date today!!!
They're both such big boys now, I can't even believe.
I though it was especially cute when Oliver took Eli on a ride on his dump truck!

Grandpa Buchanan's Gift!!!

Even though George's dad lives far away, he never forgets about his Oliver!
He sent a package that included the bib that's in the following pictures, along with a card [that's been scapbooked already], a stuffed animal [Halloween theme], and pumpkin shaped Peeps! I forgot to include the stuffed animal in these pics so don't you worry, another shoot is on the way! And mommy ate the Peeps!

[Oliver has a leaf in the pic above! He loved it.]

Preparing for Halloween!

Mommy decorated the house today. Not completely done, but proud of how scary it is! I wanted Oliver to get some pictures with it even though none of the ones I've posted really shows it!
We haven't carved our pumpkins yet so I thought it'd be cute to get Oliver with a few of them outside at least.

P.S. His shirt says 'I want my Mummy' with a mummy on it! Priceless!

Forgetful, Forgetful

I have wanted to post this since Oliver was about a month old. Kept forgetting!

Early on George and I learned our 'B's.

Boppy, binky, bottle, burpy, and baby!

At 9 months we're down the boppy and burpy.
Soon will follow the bottle and binky.
But we'll always have our baby!
[Believe me, I'm a mommy to a baby boy.
He may be 45 one day but he'll still be my baby!]

Dinos Dinos Everywhere

As most know, Oliver's theme has been dinosaurs! From his bedding to his clothing. We love to find all sorts of dinosaur related items for him. Of course when shopping for Robeez, I had to get the dinos. These are in a lot of pictures but I thought I'd show them off while they're still in semi-okay condition! They have after all survived endless chewing, food [don't ask], a pumpkin patch, and every other surface he has managed to walk on.

I regret not buying him some when he was younger. These things are amazing! Perfect for a baby that will take anything and everything off of his feet!

From Just A Second Ago...

This is Oliver's favorite position. He began as a side sleeper and still is, but man does he love the butt in the air position!

P.S. check out the dedication to the binky. He's not gonna lose it!
