Gender U/S

I got it moved up to June 4th! Why wait til I'm 20 weeks 5 days, when I can do it at 19 weeks 1 day?

I'm so antsy. I just want to know, so then I can name the baby, start preparing, and schedule my 3D/4D!

Talking

Oliver's favorite words:

1. Mine!
2. More! [while signing]

He's been saying Mommy more and more, but only when he really wants something. :]

He also knows what a nose is. I ask him where his nose is and he points to mine. We're working on the 'your' part, but overall he knows what it is.

We've also been practicing where the baby in my belly is. I ask him, "Where's the baby?" And he points to my belly. It's not an every time thing, but he's getting it.:] I still know he has NO idea what's coming in 5 and a half months. Uh oh.

Which reminds me, Oliver LOVES to say UH OH! He's so cute when he does it too.

Here is the blur that is my son. Always on the go. ;]

Moments So Rare...

Spoon Fed

This kid amazes me. Since he's in daycare I often don't get to see so many things. For example, I know he eats cereal most mornings and his teacher says he has no trouble. Since I don't usually give him cereal I've never seen him do it, hence in the back of my mind I feel as though he doesn't know how.

BIG mistake. He's fine. ;]

Playing With My Camera

I ended up getting the Cannon I wanted, and I have been fidgeting with all the different buttons. I'm just experimenting here and there since I don't have enough time in my days for much!!!

I'm no photographer and most of these were taken by mistake really! But I'm excited to learn more about lighting, etc so I can push the right buttons. Sadly Oliver is just so fast and crazy that I think I'll learn the most with the new baby. No joke. Non movers are better for new learners. Haha.

Here are a few favorites that I took in the last few days!

15 Weeks

Just a more flutters to report, not much else. Appetite is better. I still crave fruit. No weight gain. Sunny weather is making getting out on walks easier! That means exercise!

My 2nd Mother's Day!

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday since Daddy has to work on Sunday's, therefore has to sleep in until noon to function.

We spent the day taking the Light Rail into Seattle, browsing the Aquarium[a first for Daddy and baby], and enjoying Pike Place's extra flower tents just for Mom's Day.

Then after we attended church for a 1st Communion that we really didn't get to enjoy. Oliver did not want to be contained inside the church, thank goodness for the playground right outside.

Here are just a FEW pictures bc I went crazy!!!

Early Mommy's Day

God graced me with the sweetest little boy on the planet. After mommy's mani and pedi after a long week of work, she was greeted with an I Love You balloon, a rose, and a sloppy kiss on the lips. ;]

Here he is in his cute biker, cut off shirt. ADORABLE.

I think the balloon was more for himself than me, so he gave me his stick instead. Daddy said that balloon was the first one Oliver got his hands on. It was meant to be.

Sniffing the pretty flower. He really likes flowers. :]

16 Months

Can't believe how old my baby is getting!

Here he is jumping. Or should I say attempting. He's actually doing really good. He can get a tiny bit off the ground, but he mostly flails his arms. So cute.:]

And this is the end to his jump.

Moses Lake Property!

My parents have this beautiful plot of land right on the lake. They were doing some yard work so we thought we'd tag along and get out of Western WA for a day!

I've mentioned this before, but Oliver does not like help. He can do everything by himself, including walking on this dock. Don't worry, Daddy was close behind.

He was seeing all sorts of new animals!

Watching Dzia Dzia mow the lawn.

These 2 I absolutely love!! He sat still long enough!

A Few More From the Playground...

He likes sticks.

This is my un-fearful child trying to jump off the big toy. Really Oliver? Really? Haha. Thank goodness we both kept him in close sight. Literally, one second you look away and he's doing death defying stunts. Can this new baby be a girl please? Or at least a tame boy? If I have two high energy, 'do everything by myself' kinda kids, I don't think I'll survive!

At The Playground

So I don't know what is developmentally appropriate at almost 16 months when it comes to the playground but my jaw dropped when I saw that Oliver could climb up 4 of those ladder 'things' before needing help. I nearly lost it, I was so scared, then I realized he was just fine. Haha. He played with the big kids too. He definitely forgets he's so small!

My Boootiful Baby.

We were at Moses Lake yesterday, enjoying some warm weather and escaping Seattle's rain. I've been playing around with my new camera the last few days so I took almost 200 pics in like 3 hours. Haha. I'll figure out all the settings, but I think either way it takes great photos!

Beebs Update

Daddy and Big Brother got to hear the heartbeat at yesterday's appointment! 160 bpm! Nice and strong. Nothing else exciting happened but if I don't write down the little things, I'll forget! I did lose 2 lbs which is very weird to me bc of how much and how fast I gained with Oliver. Haha.

Oh and anatomy scan is scheduled for June 15th! I want to move it up a week, so perhaps it'll be sooner!!! Either way, just a few more weeks until we know the gender!

**Edit**

I felt the baby kick at the appointment!!! I've been feeling what feels like flutters the last few days. I've also been feeling gas, and yes I know there's a difference! My gas is always up high where there is no baby yet so it's a dead give away that it's not the baby. The flutters are always way down low. And by 'always' I mean the last 3-4 days!

The actual full on kick happened when my OB pressed the doppler into my pelvic region to pick up the heart beat. The minute she dug it in, I got this big kick back like, "Hey don't squish me, I'm in here!" The kick wasso hard I flinched!

This whole second pregnancy thing is quite amusing.

Oliver Says,"Brush Your Teeth!"

I told him to act happier about brushing. This burst of excitement is what I got:

Oliver's Bathroom

A few weeks ago we finally finished getting Oliver's (and the new baby's) bathroom all decorated! We wanted to go with something gender neutral-ish but still fun. I love the fishys and the vibrant blues!

Oliver says, "I love my bathroom!"

Predict The Gender

We posted a link on the left hand side, under Beebs' pregnancy ticker, to guess the gender of the new baby.

Most know we really want a girl. And the Chinese Gender Predictor predicts a girl! It predicted Oliver would be a boy! So, here's hoping...

Have fun with it and post your true gut feeling. Don't be nice bc you think I'll be happy! Haha. And be nice predicting the weight, height, and date of birth. Haha. I don't want to go a week overdue again! And no 9 pounders either. Think LITTLE baby. :]

Thanks!
